Data recovery

Advice on buying a new system please?

I am thinking of buying the following components and was wondering if people thought i was going down a good path:

  • EVGA nForce 680i Sli
  • Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient SLACR 95W Edition" 2.40GHz (1066FSB)
  • OCZ 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-8500C5 1066MHz SLI-Ready Edition Dual Channel DDR2 (OCZ2N1066SR2GK)
  • Hiper 630w HPU-4M630 SLi Certified PSU
  • Cooler Master Cosmos Case
  • Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB SATA-II 16MB Cache
  • Sony NEC Optiarc AD-7191S 20x DVD±RW SATA Dual Layer Lightscribe ReWriter
  • Palit nVidia GeForce 9600GT Sonic 512MB (x2 in SLI)
  • Vista Home Premium

Also how do people think it will run demanding apps or games like UT3 or Crysis?

Thanks

**Sorry still new at this**

Wrong thread perhaps? this one seems about data recovery.

I was going to go with the EVGA 680i but i read some mixed opinions on here so didnt bother.

i'm not saying dont get it, but i'd search the various forums here for each component, see some views and experiences on them.

Just noticed the hyper PSU, i bought one for my last system, it went about 8months before failing, which incidentaly was around the same time posts popped up in here of similar incidents :0

I currently have the Corsair HX in use in 2 different machines and they are excellent PSUs

recently had our exchange servers hard drives die and backups failed and had a company called xirtek http://www.xirtek.com/

they were very quick, cheap, and lucky for us within driving distance :p

can highly recommend them

EDIT: lol fallen_angel, you want to click new topic next time haha
