Data Recovery

Morning. So my sisters Laptop had a fit the other day and windows refuses to boot. I removed the Hard Drive and installed it on my machine but it looks like all here data has gone. Photos and the like of my nieces and nephew since they where children :-(

I tried to use DiskDigger and it has found most of the photos by the look of it but as usual you need to fork out to actually recover the files. Is there a program out there that will aloow me to recover her files for free? Thanks

The Free/Demo version of that will recover ~500MB, so may be enough for what you need.

This will recover the files, but no filenames or folder structure.

I've also used this, googled something related to the 500MB limit and the top result had a pro key. That was years ago but knowing Ease US I doubt much has changed.

I just used EaseUS and it worked a treat to recover all of a friends unbacked data after their old Macbook hard drive started to fail. They tried to fix it themselves, ended up inadvertently formatting the drive.

Luckily the data hadn't been overwritten and EaseUS was able to recover it. Very pleased.

A personal license is 15 USD, so about 12 quid - why not just pay if it's going to retrieve some irreplaceable photos?
