Hi All,

Do any of you know of any good software for retrieving deleted data?? I need to find some information that looks like its been deleted on a HDD... I really appriciate any help that you could give on this..

the free ones tend to either only let you restore 50 files, or finds the files then asks to make you register to restore them

If your currently using XP then a one I found worked 'VERY' well was Iolo Search and Recover, this program lets you restore deleted files and also lets you delete (permanently) the deleted files!

It has a 30 day trial and works perfectly for me. It did a very good job!!

GetDataBack is absolutely fantastic. I haven't found anything yet that it hasn't been able to recover stuff from.

You will need to pay for it though, but if you need the data that badly, it's WELL worth it. I think there is a trial as well, which would at least show if it can recover your files.
