Data Transfer

Hey.

I have a vista pc and a vista laptop...

Would would be the fastest ways to transfer data between them?

for some reason ethernet to ethernet produces speeds of 10-14mb/s lol (pc defo 1gb port and pretty sure laptop is too), firefire wont work, usb makes 30mb/s. the laptop doesnt have eSata?

do i have any options left lol? seeming as tho usb is my fastest option?

the cable im using now is the one that goes from my pc to my modem, i just unplug it and wack it into the lappy.

What speed are you getting? 10-14 MB/s (i.e. bytes) would be about right for 100Mbps (bits) ethernet, and you'll start to be limited by the laptop's hard drive.
