My problem here stems from the fact that Numbers does not support macros. On my windows machine i have an excel spreadsheet in which i store details about my flights (glider) including things such as location, time, type etc etc. I have then written a macro in VBA which creates a summary table for me, works very well. However as i can't do this in Numbers i need a way to store my flights. Obviously writing an application from scratch is out as i've not tried this before and don't really think i have the time to learn.

So is there a database program (like MS Access) or some other way in which i can store this data and be able to view summaries etc?

Thanks Guys,

Depends what you are trying to do. Does it have to be VBA in Excel on Windows, or could you have used a pivot table etc? If the latter, you could use a Pivot Table in OpenOffice. Or, actually, you could see if your VBA works in OpenOffice. If that fails, you could get Excel for the Mac, and code some Applescript to do the same thing. Or, if you really need a database app, then Bento might be what you are after.
