Hi, does Microsoft Access databases work on Mac OS and what about Open Office? Can I make the database on Windows and then use it on a Mac OS?

don't know about OO, but not access, unless you compile it. (probably?)
You are probably best using a SQL databse and your choice of front end, e.g. Mysql and Mysql Workbench. In terms of Access and RAD i'd be interested if there is anything for the mac, expecially if cross platform.
