Daughters first day at nursery yesterday!!

Waw!! What an emotional morning yesterday!!

I took my daughter to nursery for the very first time! She is 3 years old and me and her are so close it broke her heart to leave me and same with me. I cried in the car after i left her!! She was very upset at me leaving her.

I am a house husband in the day and work after 5pm.

It felt as though i was deserting her!!! I was churned up inside and felt sick.

Took her to nursery again this morning and she was quite a bit better thank goodness. Fingers crossed she will have a good morning as she is only there for 2.5 hrs.

Thanks guys. I know some people can't wait to get rid of their kids into school but i am not one of those, thank goodness. I have looked after my daughter since she was 5 months old and have built up a fantastic bond with her. She is my right arm!

It is very very hard to just 'Man Up' as some you hard skinned chaps have said. Especially when i have been with her every single day since she was a baby!!

I don't mind being emotional about it either. I love my girl more than life itself and letting her go off on her own is very hard. I know it has to be done but there is no harm in feeling sad and upset. Real men do cry!!
