Dave Arneson co-creator of Dungeons and Dragons dies

Just seen on BBC news website that Dave Arneson has passed away.

I doubt many will have heard of him but along with Gary Gygax he co-created the Dungeons and Dragons board gaming world.

Keen games players owe these men a debt of gratitude as many of their concepts were carried forward into a lot of fantasy role playing games. Their gaming systems were even translated almost exactly into many hardcore D&D computer games. Scratch things like WoW and just under the surface you find a heck of a lot of D&D.

RIP and thanks Dave Arneson.

Someone pointed out that the 1st thread title was a bit cryptic and I agreed, so reposted. Had a quick go at trying to find a way to change the thread title first but didn't come across a way of doing. If anyone can educate me I'd appreciate it.
