Did anyone else catch the gig Dave Gilmour played for Radio 2 last night? He played some Floyd stuff as well as stuff from his new album, and it looks like it might be a prelude to a full tour :D

You can "listen again" and watch some of the gig on the BBC Radio 2 website (and do the whole Sky interactive red button thing as well if you are suitably equiped).

cheers

Btw, with Rick Wright on keyboards.

Kind of proves that Mason is the only person standing on the way of Pink Floyd ever becoming active again...

Sod Mason tbh, I'll drum for them :p

I've got the new album, always liked Gilmour's stuff. I'll give the Radio 2 show a listen this afternoon :)

On a similar note, anyone coming to Hyde Park Calling to see Roger Waters do Dark Side of the Moon in full? :)

Tickets £40 or so for the day...

Planning to, as soon as they go on general release...

I really enjoyed watching that gig. I loved Pink Floyd's performance at Live8. They were what I watched the whole concert for. My Mum and I got a few of their best albums after, having both been so impressed with them.

Off to the Trafford centre on Wednesday with a mate, might pop into HMV and get Gilmour's new album.
