Hadn't heard of this but noticed it pop up on steam today, looks like an interesting city builder type game and seems to be getting positive reviews and not a bad launch price, anyone given it a go?

3 hours into it this afternoon. Its pretty good so far, has a similar vibe to Banished. Some of the AI needs a bit of work, but overall its been a pretty good launch.

If you enjoyed Banished you'll like this, has some pvp aspect where you need to fight off raiders occasionally.

I thought I'd give it a go, played for just under 2 hours but then decided to take a refund. I actually like whats there and I think its a nice relaxing game, but I just didn't feel like there was really enough to do, I'll probably pick it up again when its on offer in the future.

Played it for a few hours last night, enjoyed it, little bit limited but seems pretty cool.

anyone that played it: Did you manage to figure out how to get people to permanently stick to a role you assign them? i have problems with getting people to stay in watch towers etc or if I need a certain material.

As mentioned its similar to Banished. Overall it's quite enjoyable but there are some bits I don't like such as I can't see how to prioritise storage areas, people randomly put stuff in their personal tents instead of storage tents, you can force stuff in tents to get emptied but they mostly just put it back in. Gaining tech seems a bit contrived, like I can pull up a screen and see I need to craft say 4 more spears and I'll get a tech point, just seems a bit artificial to me. Some stuff is quite simplified, for example, you need to unlock pottery tech to get to the 2nd age. What I expected was to open up a new production line using clay, kilns etc to make containers for water and stuff. What it actually means is that you can set up a work zone for water and one of your guys will go down and magically whip out a clay jar to bring water back to camp.

I'm not far into it in fairness so this stuff may get better or I could just be doing it wrong.
