dawn of War, better quality

on Dawn of War 1 my graphics are all on full, but my brother says theres a way of changing the faces on the characters to make them better, configuring not though the game itself but cant remember how he did it, does anybody know anything about this, or know where I look for info
 
you might be able to get higher res files to put into the game, ive not tried though.
try googling dawn of war high res
or something like that mate
 
in the local.ini file (or something like that) there are the graphics settings

try swapping from 1, 2 and 3 in them for best results. i'm reasonably sure that they should all be 3 except for one of them which should be 2.

i'm not so sure though, its been over 2 years since i modded DoW, and 'bout 6 months since i re-installed and can't rememebr quite-rightly myself.
 
Erm. Advanced in your display settings and put all the settings like AA and AAF and v-sync etc up to the max.? Assuming you use nvidia. Its in the nvidia control panel.

pritty much the same for the ati 1
 
If I remember rightly you put -forcehighpoly or simply -highpoly in the shortcut for your game.
This basically disables LODS so all the games unit will allways be at their highest details.
