Dawn of War question

Hey guys, I'm trying to host an online game (via direct host) to play with 2 friends of mine, but it's looking like only one of them can connect at a time. The second one to try to connect was always getting a "The host could not be found" message. If I kicked the guy who connected first then the second guy immediately connected without a problem, but the first guy couldn't recconnect. What gives? Is direct host a 2-player max thing? I'm CERTAIN I had enough spots open btw!

it does sound like direct host is a 1v1 thing, fairly sure it is. why not use Hamachi to make a LAN game?

i sometimes get that problem with my friend, it seems to fix itself sometimes

Phalanx, you saying you HAVE managed to host a game and have more than 1 person direct-join to you?

What's Hamachi anyway? We weren't on a LAN, those two are in London, I'm in Leeds. Could they connect to each other via LAN and have me connect externally perhaps?
