Dawn Of War - Screen Resolutions

Hi folks

Anyone playing Dawn Of War? Does anyone know if it's possible to get a screen resolution of 1360 by 768 pixels. My monitor is set to this resolution but I can't find this res in the options of the game.

I have the game set at the next available (smaller) resolution.

Anyone in the know, is it even possible.

C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn of War

in there you should find a local.ini file, open that with notepad and find the screen height lines and width and try your resolution out, you might find that it will revert to 800x600 if it doesnt work

There are also options in the ini file that will allow you to have super high textures char details etc.

I read on the widescreen gaming forums that true 'widescreen' was broken in the latest patch (1.4) so stick with 1.3 if you want widescreen. (no much good if you ar playing multiplayer.)

Hopefully this will be fixed in the next patch.

There are also details on how to run it at other resolutions.

ive found this out, but im unsure if it really makes a massive difference, lmk what you thik about it

place this in the locl.ini file

'unit_occlusion=1'

just put it on a new line at the end.

and add this to the shortcut '-forcehighpoly'

On the relic forums http://forums.relicnews.com there is a guide on all the different settings you can use. Some of the settings can massivley reduce performance though.
