Day of Defeat, Or Red Orchestra?

Which one?

I liked them both but liked red orchestra quite a lot too!

Day of Defeat is a fun blast but nothing like it used to be in the beta days. It's a lot quicker and DM orientated but I like to play it now and then for a laugh. Red Orchestra is a different type of beast, much slower paced and more tactical. I like them both but they are very different in the gameplay experience they present.

DoD:s has given me many fun filled hours of gameplay. waiting for the right moment to advance is critical. although it is much more arcadey than RO i just thought RO was a bit sluggish and slow for my liking...

I purchased Red Orchestra but I didn't like it the main reason is that I didn't have any gun sights ..... is that normal? :confused:

I also purchased Day of defeat and I didn't really like that there was too much camping and i just got board.

My favourite games are Medal of honour spearhead its really good and very realistic the aiming is spot on and of course HL-2 Deathmatch which is fast and furious and great fun (the mavity gun is the best weapon eva)

I have 2 remaining guest passes for R. Orc if any one wants one?

, i always throught it was just a medal of honour clone?
I dont know if dod is really worth spending money on tbh, as a freebie great but medal of honour seemed a lot more polished

i thought RO was poo, too slow really, and maps wernt very appealing to me.
DoD, well i dunno now, its rubbish compared to what it used to be. I played since beta 1.0, and i think pretty much every release got worse and worse, then came source, worse.

I find games like DoD get very boring when people camp in the same place over & over again, somewhere u cant get to them. Then someone takes note of this and does it on other servers .... and soon someone is in the same place every time on every server.

On some servers on MoH there is an anti camp rule where if u stay in one place for over 1 min you automatically become a bomb lol

MoH is dying a death inmy eyes, played it for years, and then got bored.

Yeh tbh i aint played it for a while (about a month) but it was the only game i played until then ..... now its HL2 deathmatch (which btw if you own an ATI card you can get it for free) so much fun so many levels & great weapons

People like that make the rest of us look good though, because its easy kills, we take note and then always check there or listen out.
I loved DoD back in its day, it was still fun around 2.0 -3.1 but not as fun, I played it pretty competitively, but it all died off after that =/
