I'm not usually very liberal with my cash but for some reason in the last couple of days I have splurged loads of it!

Agreed to buy a new computer tower for £500 big ones, bought a TFT for £200 quid and I just downloaded the newest Half-Life on a whim!

I seem to do this every so often which is nice! :D What the biggest amount you've ever splurged, or are you more of a constant splurger.

And splurge is in no way a dirty word you filthy beasts. :o

Never have I seen so much use of the word splurge in a single post.

I take my hat off to you sir... Though I do question your sanity.

I spent £755 last night on a Scooter :D
But I spent £34 on my provisional, then another £100 on a helmet, £60 for protective leggings and £150 on jacket.
I still need to spend £400 on insurance :(

Im glad you are using protection.

I used to be quite big on impulse buying when I first started earning, but I have learnt a few lessons and have generally calmed down now. Cars and bikes (MTB) were my (almost) downfall.

The most ridiculous: £400+ on one night out

Followed by:

Xbox 360 @ £500
PC @ £1100
Hifi: £1200
Camera: £800

Other random spendings happen from time to time but nothing that comes close to those!

On myself...
I'm going to spent £76 tomorrow on some GHD's. I really don't spend large amounts on myself. Everything expensive I own has been bought for me. So I reckon that is probably the most i've ever really spent in one go.
(Hopefully now I have a proper job i'll be able to buy myself a few more expensive things, although DRZ has expensive enough tastes for the both of us  )

I splurge in big chunks.

Am I the only one who can't help but giggle at the huge innuendo potential of this thread?

Someone slap me back in to the land of maturity please. :D

Spent about £1000 a year and a bit ago when i built my first pc. Paid about £400 for a hifi seperate system at christmas. The next big spend will be a decent mountain bike, im looking at spending around £400-£600. Oh and when i buy a car thatll set me back a few thousand.

Think of the papercuts!

However, your wife/girlfriend is very lucky...

Kind of brings a whole new meaning to "If I had a dollar for everytime I...." :p :D
