Hoping the collective minds of the forum can help.

Got my new pc delivered yesterday. All built by overclockers so I can just plug in and play.

The specs are as follows
5800x
X570 Tomahawk mobo
6800 Saphire Nitro+
32GB 3600mhz RAM
750W Corsair PSU
2tb NVME

I turned it on yesterday to make sure it boots and all ok. I turned it on today and did all the windows updates that showed when I ran the check on updates.

I installed steam and battle net this afternoon, and then downloaded WoW, Assassins Creed Odessey and part of Total War Warhammer II.

Tried WoW for 5 mins and worked fine.

Just been playing some AC and it crashed after 23 minutes or so. When it restarted by itself it had to repair windows and restore to a previous point, which has meant Battle net has been deleted and AC and TW need re downloading.

I ran some checks to see what could be wrong, and did a scan and repair through the command prompt screen, and all I have now is 5 dots going round in a circle at the bottom of a black screen....

I am not technologically literate and have no idea what is going on here.

Would anyone have any idea as I am at my wits end given the outlay on this and the fact it is pretty much appearing to be a fancy bit of furniture at the moment.

As it was built by OC I would post in the customer service forum. Unless you are confident / experienced with PC hardware I wouldn't try anything yourself without speaking to them.

Personally I would make sure the NVME drive is fully seated in its slot, as well as all the power cables, ram, and any addin cards - but you've gone prebuilt for a reason, so definately contact them first for advice!

If it had to repair Windows, sound like either faulty SSD or faulty memory, but like said above, that's not your problem, so I'd get in touch with OCUK.
 
Thank you both, looks like after two weeks of anticipation it will be going back in the box to OC then potentially.

The only upside is AC looked awesome on it!
