Dayinsure alternatives

Simple question really, are there any insurers which offer short term insurance policies (~14 days) to drivers under 21? I need insurance on my mums car when I go back to Ireland in June and it seems silly that I can't insure it now but will be able to a month from then

Are there any alternatives? I don't mind paying a bit extra.

They offered to insure me for £20 for 24 hrs on my dads SL500...so tempted but worried what he would do to me if I had a prang in it.

Yes - but Dayinsure is simply a rebadged version of NU's service with the same prices.

The SL500 is Group 20 - Groups 18-20 are only available to over 25's.

Be careful with Dayinsure, as it'll print a policy for anyone on anything but isn't actually valid unless you conform to their requirements - and its your responsbility to check.

I got quite far in the quote process and thought I should take a read of the conditions. Good job I did by the sounds of it.
NU is the same as Dayinsure, over 21. I would get added as a named driver to my mums insurance but because I have >3 penalty points they won't touch me.

Any other suggestions?

Whats this free 7 day insurance with ebay motors? Put your mums car on ebay for 1p buy it now and buy it with another account. lol Not sure if it will work though
