Wondered if anyone else here has had the pleasure of visiting here?

Went last week on the recommendation of (I believe) a Sunday Times Farm Shop guide, which rated it the best in the country (quite some accolade, and difficult to quantify, naturally).

Me and a friend between us picked up between us some Double Gloucester and Manchego from the enclosed, chilled cheese room (mightly chilly after a minute or two!); basque chorizo which was beautiful, chicken fillets (soft enough to tear by hand), a good Rioja and various other tidbits.

The mixed salad is some of the best I've tased from a store, and is grown on site. There's a real kick to the peppery varieties, the leaves are a deep green hue and bursting with flavour.

Their flapjack is to be recommended also, not the slightest bit stodgy like many examples.

It's certainly the swankiest farm shop I've visited too from a decor/presentation perspective, it is pitched undeniably upmarket yet some items are quite reasonable (big pot of cherry tomatoes for 95p wasn't bad).

Worth a visit if you're within an hour's drive I'd say. There's also a spa for your missus :p

Ahh, I haven't been to the one at Over. Anything there you'd recommend? It's a lot closer to me than Daylesford!
