Hello hello!

I work for a school and I've been assigned an interesting task to prove a working concept for delivering a lesson with a projector to approx 30 students outside. The students will be standing at max 15-20M away. I've set up one of our old projectors from our last refresh, it's a Epson EB-93H and (as expected) it doesn't provide the greatest of images whilst outside in 'standard' light. The projector is currently setup about 3M away from a blackboard with a white bedsheet over the top (it's all I had to work with - lol). The teacher wasn't too enthusiastic with my suggestion of 'whacking a big old tent up'. ;)

I've had a good snoop around on the net and it seems that I need to be aiming for a 5000+ lumen projector and an anti-reflective screen. My question is; has anyone here done, or looked into anything similar to this? If so, please could you let me know what projector you chose and whether or not you went with an anti-reflective screen.

My budget is n/a because I'm really just proving the concept.

Thank you in advance for any replies.

Scott :)

Barco HDX £30-40K

20K lumens that can be flexed.

Honestly projecting outside is such a pin in the ass.....It would be better to construct a screen box and front project from a bit of height imo.
