Daytona 24 Hours - 2025

I am contemplating heading over for this race and was wondering if anyone has attended the 24 hours before and can comment on viewing, the event or any must knows?

Never been myself but know a couple of American lads who have been and both think Petit Le Mans is a better event to attend if you’re coming from overseas.

Has a better atmosphere and feels a lot more lively apparently, plus Road Atlanta is a way better track.

More of a timing thing really and I would actually prefer Sebring but I have something else on at that time. Petit Le Mans would be good too as Road Atlanta is one hell of a race track.

Daytona can be COLD even at this time of year so I’d check the forecast just in case. I think I’d rather do the Bathurst 12h that’s also at the end of the month but that’s twice the flight!

Although given the choice I think I'd go to the Aussie Super cars race at the Mountain rather than the 12h, but that's not until October.
