DayZ - Graphics settings GTX 1070

Hi,

Was wondering if anyone could help, ive recently got back into playing dayz, Joined a couple of modded servers and have suffered with stuttering.

Was just wondering if anyone could be kind enough, that has a simliar pc setup to send me there graphical setting.

Ive got a Ryzen 5 2600x
Gtx super palit 1070
16gb ram

Stuttering is normally having the game installed on a drive that’s too slow. Is it on a mechanical drive or an SSD?
 
Maybe if you can turn down the view distance as iirc as it does with arma rendering at high distance can cause issues like that..
 
You shouldn't have stuttering, even on older hardware. Which servers are you playing? Some of the heavily modded ones are a mess, which can cause performance issues.

Easiest thing to do otherwise, is to crank all the graphics settings down to the lowest, then turn them up one by one until you start to see the stuttering. I'd pay particular attention to the hardware anti aliasing and foliage smoothing options.
 
I'm on a 6700k and 1070, high settings with full AA and no issues on vanilla or close to vanilla servers. I've only had the game a week so not been on any major modded servers, just vanilla maps.
