DC-HSDPA capable phone? Spec me?

Hey chaps,

A work colleague wants to use his all you can eat tethering (3) and wants the highest speed possible. Besides the moto G, whats the cheapest phone that supports this?

Any help much appreciated! He's very squeaky

Nexus 4 2nd hand would be a good choice. 8GB should be easily under a ton.

No it's not, hence not the bargain everyone thinks...
A has been said, the N4 can be had cheap, also if it's just for tethering then the 4g Kestral from EE for £99 will work fine. ( i'm not sure if 4g phones have DC-hsdpa as standard?)

Not sure the kestrel has, I don't think it does but the Alcatel idol s does and lte but I'm not sure if ee still sell it as I read it was being replaced by the kestrel.

Nexus 4 still seem to go for good money! I was hoping one of the old htc's might do it but no such luck it seems!
