I have a NG badged router - CBV734EW router and here is the issue i have.
After the MoP patch came out for WoW - i am Disconnected after 10-12 mins of playing. I have done the following to try and work out why.
Uninstalled - reinstalled
Open ports on firewall [ windows ]
check disk [ 7 hours worth of it ]
memory test - all good - no errors
followed the guides on the internet and wow pages for this issue.
delete cache files, agent, battlenet cache.
driver updates - gone to web sites and downloaded - not via windows
However, here is waht makes me think it is a router issue.
When i plug in my laptop, and tell it to download MoP game from battlenet, takes about 5 hours, the main PC does not DC at all, until the laptop is finished and then i get about 10 mins and then i DC.
For the router, i cant seem to find any firmware for it. But have the ports open, done a factory reset and set it up again. I do have wireless on with a secure key for the phone to use as well.
Any ideas why the laptop keeps the main PC from DCing?
TYIA for any ideas.
