Been using it for a long time, and wont use anything else. As far as hubs go, well just dive in and see what you can find.
If you are just starting out on it, you'll probably be browsing the public hubs, of which there are hundreds to choose from. Once you get known and accepted, then you may get invited to a private hub. Private hubs are where it's at. Generally speaking they are more genre focussed, and because they have fewer members than public, its easier to get to know other members that can get you into other hubs.
Word of advice - later versions (including the latest) dont work too well through firewalls and routers, and, because of the hashing methods, are not allowed into some hubs. The last version that is pretty much globally acceptable is 0.694.
Also be aware that a lot of private hubs wont allow you in if you are also in a public hub at the same time.
