DCC Pump PWM

I don't think you could do that as it would draw 10 to 18W from the connector, depending on your DDC pump.
I know that some motherboards support that power, but I would not risk it.

I found a pcb you can buy for the ddc pump to convert it to pwm, lots of soldering though.

I've modded mine to run off the pump header on my motherboard, but mine isn't the PWM version pump, so it's 3 pin control only. All I did was cut the molex cable and separate sense wire, and solder them onto a 3 pin fan connector. I just bought a fan extension cable and cut it in half for the connector. I'd imagine it would be exactly the same for the PMW version, you'd just have to solder the extra sense wire as well.

If your mobo has a pump header these are almost always 2 amps minimum, so they can handle at least 24w no problem, and the fan cables should be good up-to about 3 amps max. It would definitely overload a regular CPU fan header though.

You can do it, just make sure you know the specification of the motherboard header, you will want a 2A or above fan header. You can also use your existing PCB with voltage control if you use a 3pin fan header. I suggest you use 22 or lower AWG wires for this purpose.
