Hi guys,

I'm having a big issue with Digital Combat Simulator: A-10C. No matter what part of the menu I'm in, I always get a crash to desktop/program has stopped working error within 30 seconds. I did a complete Windows reinstall two days ago to try to fix the problem but it still persists. Thus making flying impossible.

After a bit of research I found that some people are getting similar errors with other games. I'm completely stuck as there seems to be no simple solution. I'm running Windows 7 64bit and DCS is fully updated with no modifications. Does anybody have any suggestions?

This is the content of my newest crash report:

Ahh it's you!

How are you running the game? Via steam window? I run via the retail shortcut.

I suggest you download from ED:

http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?scr=product&ProductId=8&end_pos=135&lang=en

Then use your steam key to install non-steam version. I pretty much do this as I've got the game junctioned to the same path and am using my old shortcuts.

P.s. I've found a 4 hour patrol mission for WH... are you man enough?
