DCS A10 warthog + xbox 360 kinect.

DAMN YOU!!! I've only just got a webcam for facetracknoir, even though it is slightly over sensitive and choppy, do you still get that with kinect?
 
The kinect was not choppy and with the settings from the guide it was perfect sensitivity setting for me and you have a faster cpu then I do.

But some webcams have lower fps then say the ps3 eye or the kinect. and I think the ps3 faster then the kinect as well.

The only problem I have found so far is that if you lose headtracking ingame I have alt-tab and turn the cam on and off in facetrack.

But I have changed the filtering setting on kinect now so should be a bit better then before and I will do more testing tomorrow at some point.

see I bought a decent webcam after trying a couple of my mates, wasn't a cheapo one but even after messing with sensitivity for ages I either have to really exaggerate my movements or its picking up the slightest little thing
 
Do you have dcs game or you playing something else ? maybe try the setting I used from that guide and see what it's like?

And you can download dcs world that comes with a free plane to test the same setting on your pc see if it's still choppy on that game.
 
tracking performance is great, its just either far too sensitive or not enough, probably just me needing to mess around with settings. Great little app though
