Looks a good, no, a great sim.

Have a couple of questions.

It looks complicated. I downloaded the manual and from what I can make out you have to operate/activate about 50 buttons,switches etc just to get the KA-50 in the air.

I know this is what sims are about but does Blackshark an easy/novice option for the beginner?

I don't really want to spend a year reading the manual before I get in the air.

And most importantly. Is there a demo version available? Checked their site/forum but can't seem to find one.

There's a cheat button to auto start the KA-50, so you don't need to learn the startup procedure if you don't want to.

Also, there is an arcade mode if you just want to fly around destroying armour with relative ease.

No demo.

Its pretty hardcore and looks like a lot of time will be needed to get into it properly.
I bought it recently but im going to mess about with the helicopters in fsx first before I try and get into it.

Have a look at the "Producers Notes" series of Videos. They will teach you to fly in much quicker time than just reading the manual.

Also great to know that there's an arcade mode, for a quick fix.
