DD-WRT breaks POP3 email?

Installed DD-WRT on my Asus RT N-13U yesterday and all went well as far as i could tell. It seems though that POP3 email no longer comes in and i've tested on different devices, different email clients etc. IMAP email is still received as normal though.

Could it just be a coincidence and maybe Virginmedia are having POP3 issues?

Not aware of email server issues at the time of your post. Have you looked to see whether DD-WRT has blocked port 995 or something daft like that?

Last time I installed DD-WRT was a while ago on an old D-link router to use as a repeater but didn't have any port issues then.
