Hi all,

I put DD-WRT onto my D-Link DIR-615 router, and all seemed well. I was very happy with the new QoS options and to be honest I can't now imagine having a router without QoS now!
However, I have noticed the wireless literally go through the floor. My iPhone 3GS can no longer connect, and it is very slow when using my NC10 netbook to browse the web (even though it has priority on QoS).

Does anyone know if this is an issue with the 615's & DD-WRT, as it's pretty awful!

Cheers,

TheDean

It wasn't an issue with mine, if anything the wireless coverage increased.

It's really odd...a definate decrease of strengh/power/coverage etc. I know on Tomato you could do a 'site survey' and it would set the channel, signal frequency, strength all up for you etc. Is there any similar on for dd-wrt?

I may restore back to factory defaults tonight to see if that resolves anything
