So, I keep getting this cpu fan error more or less every time I power on.

Once it's running it has been fine until I disconnected the pwm wire the rpm is now fluctuating 4545-4470rpm

I have pulled the pwm signal wire out of the plug, I have a Pwm fan connected to cpu opt header and that does not spin at 100% when I power on so I assumed that maybe the pump was not getting pwm juice :confused:to start turning.

Checked voltage at molex for 12v while pump not spinning,

Visually checked the pump and from what I can see though the frosted pump top the impeller is moving up and down now and then while rotating is this normal?

Anything else I can check, try or something?

Thanks in advance

Sometimes pumps takes a little bit of time to start up which can cause the motherboard to think nothings connected to it at start up

I know it takes a few seconds to start pumping but this one don't start at all.

I just cleaned the filter and now my pump has a leak.

Ok after cleaning the filter the pump has so far turned on every single time while cycling the on/off switch for filling the loop. While removing the filter I some how undid a rotary on the pump seems the rotary part is a bit stiff.

So now here's were the day turns **** I start a game of the division chosen my load out about to run out of the safe house hear a thud and a load of air being pumped round the loop, had to pull the power lead out.
The collar blew off where I joined the ridgid tube from the cpu block to soft tube from the filter. Looks like the glue has not bonded to the tube or the collar
