Ok, I've just got my (shiny new) system up and running, and have been setting up the BIOS. All looks fine and dandy, except under PC Health Status it's showing "DDR 18V Fail".

Hmn, not sure about what this might mean - this is with a pair of Crucial Ballistix 1GB sticks (DDR2/PC28500C5) at 1066Mhz attached to a Gigabyte GA P35 DQ6. Not touched any settings to do with voltage or the like in the BIOS, and this seems a pretty constant problem.

Any suggestions?

more like 1.8v fail - this is because that ram runs at 2.2v - you need to put the ram voltage to + 0.4 - i think

Ah, cheers, that's I wondered reading around the subject on the interweb if that was the solution.

Hmn, changed the DDR2 Overvoltage to +0.4v and still giving me that error. Odd.

Guess it's time to open the case and see if they sit happier in the other memory slots.

Ignore the DDR 18V Fail warning on the Gigabyte boards. It's there for no reason.
