DDR 3 2400 + I7 4790K

I have currently awaiting to be received/built

Asus Z79 Pro Gamer Mobo
I7 4790K 4.0
Team Xtreme LV DDR3 16GB 2400

Now I have read some reports as the DDR3 2400 is 1.6hz then it is not compatible with the I7 4790K chip as this shouldn't exceed 1.5

Is this correct or has anyone got a definite answer whether this memory can be run at full speed and voltage

Hello and welcome to the forum

You be fine running the memory at 1.65v with the 4790k.

If I remember correctly I think it was SandyBrdge which had a slight issue running with high memory voltage - but I not herd any body having issues though.
