ddr hear ddr there ddr everywhere

ok ive been running 512ddr 266 for quite some time now and have come to the point when i have decided its time to upgrade.
im going for ddr400 budget memmory i dont have £80 for a gig just £60 and no way of buying off of the internet so id like to know what im best going for.
i was told to avoid kingston value ram like the plague
my choices are=
1gb stick of elixir =£58
2x512 sticks of kingston value ram=£62
1gb stick of samsung =£50
2x512 sticks of danlec =£63

Out of the four choices I only recognise two brands - but I would go for the Kingston, purely because of the brand.

Why not buy off the internet? It's only numpties who get ripped off.
 
i dont have a bank account at the minute and i wouldnt ask to use a friends card he'd proberbly ask for intrest lol
i live 5 minutes from a pc hardware shop and it would just be a hole lot easier to buy from there the prices arnt to badno real bargains but hey
 
The kingston is what i'd go for, used it before and the value stuff is pretty good.

It's actually a fairly reasonable price, considering internet places would charge delivery on top.
