DDR laptop RAM

I currently have an old laptop with 512mb (2 x 256mb) pc2700 (166mhz) RAM.

To upgrade this RAM, I take it that I need specifit laptop RAM? And that it's easiest if i get the same type, e.g. 2x 512mb sticks of PC2700 RAM?

Yeah I use did them same thing. got some 2700 512's from the purple shirted fruit loops.
