Heya, as the title says I'm still running this stuff, however I need more :(

At the moment I've got 2x512mb Corsair Twin X with 2 3 3 6, now I'm looking for a cheap nasty upgrade that'll keep my computer gaming for atleast (if not more) another 6 months and with only 1 gig of RAM it's starting to take a bit of a hit.

Looking around you can 2x1gb 2 3 3 6 Twin X from competitors and the bay for about £50-80 which is ridiculous considering I could 4 gigs of DDR 2..

Sooo would I notice a major performance hit if I go for some slower CAS 3 DDR PC3200 like this?

Yeah I know it's not value for money, but don't want to buy into Socket 775 tech with Nehalem knocking round the corner.

Thanks a lot =)

Ahh cheers, although doing a bit of searching managed to find a competitor doing new sticks of OCZ Platinum 2x1gb with 2 3 2 5 timings for £48 so will grab some of that =D

Really depends on the timing's think the twinx are 2-3-3-6 and the Pro are 2-3-2-6, there are faster sticks about if you want to buy it.

Regarding mixing, I'm not sure I would bother - and my mobo has 3 slots, but can only use two at 400 Mhz, and 3 with 333. So would read the manual before trying.
