The only PC4200 I know is DDR2 memory. But someone is listing some Kingston ValueRAM PC4200 DDR1 memory for sale.

I've checked Kingston's SKUs and they don't seem to have a DDR1 533Mhz part. Not in the ValueRAM. The HyperX has a 533 DDR1 variant.

The seller guarantees it's DDR1. Has anyone seen any ValueRAM DDR1 at 533mhz?

Yeah, but the PC2-4200 is also 533 Mhz :p I just don't want to buy it and find out it's the wrong type. However, I've got an email from the seller stating it's DDR1, so if it isn't I should be able to return it. Hopefully.

Well, I just won 2gb of this stuff for £55. It better be DDR1 or I'll be putting it straight back on "the bay"...

Turns out it's the standard DDR400 ValueRAM. So I'm not sure if 2Gig for £58 is such a bargain any more :p I mean, it's not bad but it's not an amazing deal either :p

I don't tend to overclock my RAM, so I might just live with it.
