DDR1 vs DDR2 on Asrock 4CoreDual-SATA2 motherboard

Hi guys,

I have a friend who is after a cheap upgrade. He wants to keep his DDR1 and AGP card, so suggested the Asrock board to him. I just need to know whether it will work well with a E2140/60/80 CPU or will the DDR1 not be quick enough? Should he go for new DDR2 as well?

supprisingly it oc's better with DDR1 appearently (assuming hes into that)

I'll try and find it, ta. He won't be overclocking, I just wanted to check whether DDR1 will hold back a Core 2 Duo or not
