Bit confused on this one, got a m2n32 sli dx mb, and specs say max memmory is DDR2-800..but on Crucial site they say this mb can take the DDR2-1066 as well, so who's telling the truth? also if it can take the DDR2-1066 is the performance much different to the 800? is it worth the extra £50?

Well DDR2-1066 is nearing standardization, it's getting that stable, so yeah it should probably work :) Most DDR2-1066 can run at same voltage as DDR2-800 when it came out, but since it's not a JEDEC standard yet most MOBO manfacturers don't list it as compatible :)
