DDR2 8500 1066

I bought 4 x 1gb sticks of Corsair Dominator and find that it won't run at 1066 stable.
I feel like I was misled in their performance and I would have been better off buying 2x2gb - as other people have been advised.
Do I have a recourse with OCUK or Corsair to get me RAM replaced or do I just bite the bullet.

What other setting are you using?

Normally when using 4 sticks you'll have to increase the northbridge voltage slightly. Check the default timings are as per the manufactures, and check the memory voltage is set to manufactures recommended.

What board? You might have to bump NB volts a little too.

what voltage/timings are you running it at ?

better to have them set manually than left on auto.

Using a BFG 680SLI.
Just tried changing the settings as per the instructions from RAM Guy @ Corsair but when I reboot it says it's in safe-mode and non off the settings have changed.
Set it to 5-5-5-5-15 and 1066 and upped the voltages on Memory to 2.1 and SPP to 1.5 and MCP to 1.6
