DDR2 Asymmetric?

Hi all!

I've just setup a new system and i'm getting asymmetric dc mode in cup-z (which i thought wasn't full dual channel) is this correct for the following setup:

Asus P5KC Combo Intel P35

I'm kind of new to all this so everything on the motherboard is set to auto as im not sure what the manual setting should be!

Yep i have them in 1 & 4 ...or A1 & B1 as it refers them to in the manual

Aaa ok, so it will be ok then? There's no performance loss?

I'm running it with a Q6600 btw

Hang on, have i answered my own question there...the Q6600 runs at 1066 and the memory at 800...so is that why it says asymmetric?

OK so i overclocked the CPU to 3.2 and the FSB is now running at 400mhz to so i get 1:1 ratio...but it still says Asymmetric in the DC Mode box :S

Its very strange, i updated the motherboard bios and the memory sticks are definately the same (cause they came together in the same box, lol)

Both look the same me me :S
