Hi guys need 4Gb ram Whats all your opinions...I will be overclocking so here are the choices (all 4x1Gb)

a. Crucial 10th Anni 5300
b. OCZ,Team,Geil 6400

what do you reckon, seems to make sense to me to buy the 6400 as surely it will go higher than some of the 5300, or maybe it won't....

Any ideas are welcome!

The 10th anni is a top notch clocker so i've heard, and is kind of under-rated at 5300 as it performs just as well if not better at 6400 as the competition. (This is all hear-say as i've not had the pleasure of trying some). However, I just decided to go for the OCZ Plat rev. 2 over the 10th anni to make some savings. I don't know much about your mobo, so I can't specifically say what you'd be best off with, but from what I've read and seen, the Crucial and Team Xtreem stuff is top notch, Geil isn't rated so highly and quite a few people are having issues, so if going the budget route, OCZ > GeIL. If going the more expensive route, 10th anni or Xtreem'll do you well I think.

Thanks EvilGrin

Every review I read points me basically at two overall

The 6400 Crucial ballistix
OCZ 6400 plat rev 2

Still reading thread and stuff, everytime I build a PC i do this about the RAM and always convince myself to by Crucial....want a change :D
