DDR2 pc5400 / PC6400

Getting a new gigabyte 965P mobo & am after 1gb RAM.....will I see much performance difference between DDR 2PC6400 & PC5400 ram (I probably won't be doing much overclocking).

Also will there be any performance difference in 2 x 512 over 1 x 1gb stick of ram ?

if you plan to do any overcloking go with the 6400 if not the 5400

2x512 if there dual channel witch it will be then not mutch diffrence
