Hello all.

In increasingly getting fustrated with vista running on only 2GB RAM I want an extra 2GB but I dont know what to get.

I currently have 2GB Crucial Tenth Anniversary @ 1000MHz 4-4-4-12 2T. Recommend me something that will run at those speeds, and will I be able to run at those speeds with 4GB? Much appreciated!

Remember I will be mixing my memory! So im gonna need the perfect match for my tenth anniversary.

These sticks are the same timings (the anniversary ram is crucial ballistix but handpicked and overlock like hell) I don't know if they would overclock to 1000mhz while holding the timings but you could try, or even relax them a bit.

Try increasing the timings on them as they are (5-5-5-15) or again relax the timings on your anniversary.

Doing either option might make overclocking harder but thats as close as a matched pair as you will get, unless you find some second hand stuff.

Or as suggested sell and buy other ram.

Yes they are D9s and yes they are discontinued. They were limited edition at the time of launch, shame really cos they overclock like hell like bobbydigital mentioned!

Ive had them running at 1050MHz 4-4-4-12 2T before but my new bios update forced me to lower the freq a bit.. new bios caused a minor stability issue :(.

Id hate to sell my annis but I might not have a choice.. should have got 4GB at the time.. oh well.
