hello everyone.
as u all may see, i opened a post a few days ago asking which video card to buy cuz my 9800gx2 got screwed. i decided for a gtx 275 896 supercloaked.

but, until i get the card i have no computer.
im using a board evga 790i ultra sli DDR3.
i wonder, if i buy a pci express ddr2 video card super cheap and ****ty video card, would it work on a ddr3 board?

so question, ddr2 video card can work on ddr3 board?

please answer this doubt i have so i know whata to do. until the time i have no computer, im using my asus 1000he, i just need a cheap card to have video at least, that board doesnt have integrated video.

thanks for answers

The memory on the graphics card has got no relation to the memory on the motherboard. So I can't see that being a problem. Take a 4870 as an example, it uses DDR5 memory, but will easily work with a DDR2 or 3 mobo. So go for it.
