DDR3 and Asus P5Q3 Deluxe

Quick Q,

Friends looking at a new PC, has no intention of going i7 at the current prices.

Lookin at this board with a Q9450.

Cant really find much info on whats regarded as the better DDR3 at the moment so any help would be appreciated

The 2GB CellShock DDR3 PC3-14400 1800MHz (8-7-6-21) Dual Channel kit are highly recommended, they can overclock really well, and you can tighten up the timings quite a lot. There also cheaper then a lot of the other brands from corsair, ocz etc...

But it also depends on what speed ddr3 you are after...

If he's a gamer, I'd suggest a 2 x 2GB kit.

yeah he's gonna be gaming on it,

minimum of 4Gb as 2 sticks.

DDr3 just doesnt seem to have much info available
