DDR3 Dual Channel Availabilty

I'm looking to upgrade to 4 gig to 8 and looking on Overclockers most of the kits are out of stock. Is there a current DDR3 shortage or something?
There doesn't seem to be the same issue with the tri channel kits.

What am I missing?

afaik theres no particular shortage, though prices have gone up past few months so maybe, I think its just high demand with the AM3 socket becoming more and more popular
