DDR3 Ram for this MoBo

Can I have suggestions as to which DDR3 Ram will run on this MoBo
Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H AMD 880G (Socket AM3) microATX DDR3 Motherboard

This is what I would buy at the moment.

From what I remember, AM3 generally makes better use of lower latency RAM compared to higher frequency. So a CL7 1600MHz kit at £80 is pretty nice.

Could you please expand on this.
What is CL7 ?
I bought Corsair Dominator 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMD4GX3M2A1600C9) and it will not run on this board.
