DDR3 Voltage Drop

Hi - The RAM modules in my machine are rated at DDR3-1600. According to G.Skill they're verified to run on 1.6V with 7-7-7-24 timings at that speed. At the moment I've actually got them running slower @ DDR3-1333 with the same timings but wonder if I should be able to drop the voltage down to 1.5V (as per JEDEC standard) to save some heat and electricity? G.Skill doesn't seem to mention if this is possible so should I keep 'em on 1.6V or just try and see what happens?

Cheers mate. I checked cpuz and it doesn't even list 666MHz. The closest is 685MHz (DDR3 1370? Is there even such a standard?) and that is with 1.5V but with crap slack timings 9-9-9-25. There's another lower but equally weird timing of 609MHz (DDR3 1218??) again at 1.5V but with timings 8-8-8-22.

I'm going to give it a go and see if it passes memtest with say 1.52V @ 1333MHz 7-7-7-24.
