DDR3 vs DDR2

Hi guys

Im currently running 2gb crucial 1066mhz ram (2x1gb sticks).

Would I benifit changing motherboards to a DDR3 motherboard? Would the faster speeds help? Currently using a EVGA 680i mobo and a Q6600.

No, you'd notice no real difference, only in benchmarks.
